It is in worship that God nourishes our faith and we join in praising God for all His marvelous works. It is here that we encourage one another by confessing our sins, receiving forgiveness and confessing our faith – together.
Four principles guide our worship format:
- We want Jesus Christ to be the focus of all we do.
- We want God’s people to be able to participate in worship.
- We want to offer our best to God in worship.
- We want to value the experience of the church.
All our worship is to point to Jesus Christ and give glory to God.
Jesus said “Feed my lambs”
We believe that it is vitally important for children, the precious lambs of Jesus, to hear what he has to say to them in his Word. Children of all ages are welcomed to join us in worship. After worship they can attend Sunday School classes with their age group. In Sunday School children will learn the Bible stories that tell of God’s love for the world and the Savior that he sent through songs, crafts, games, and activities. Sunday school children also bring the story of Jesus’ birth to the whole congregation every year in our special Christmas Eve Service.
For those parents whose children are restless, we offer a staffed Nursery for ages 1-6 during the sermon.
God’s Word is a powerful, life giving message that blesses families over and over. Build a strong foundation of faith for you and your family here at Peace Lutheran.
