5.7.21
God is love. God is love and he wants us to follow his command to love one another. Our human nature does not always appreciate being commanded to do something. This Sunday we are reminded why we can joyfully follow God’s commands. Worship is at 10:00 AM at the Phi Delta Kappa Banquet Hall located at 11311 Phi Delt Way, Odessa, 33556. Children’s Sunday School and Adult Bible Study will follow worship!
On Sunday morning you can find a pre-recorded service here.
On Sunday morning you can worship with us on Facebook Live starting at 10 AM.

NEW BEGINNINGS – A HOME FOR MOTHERS
New Beginnings is a long-term, Christian-based program that offers structure and spiritual guidance for a young mother and her new baby. Mothers are invited to stay at the home for up to six years following the birth of their child. In that time they can learn the skills needed to manage a household while adjusting as a new family. Read more about New Beginnings here.
Your support truly does make a difference for the mothers and children at New Beginnings!

YOUTH GROUP EVENT – POOL PARTY – BRING A FRIEND
We all want our youth to make strong relationships with other Christian youth. We want them to be able to discuss subjects that mean something for them where they are at in life, all centered around their Savior. We want them to have fun while praising God and sharing his love in serving others around them. These are the goals of getting the youth of Peace Lutheran together. All 6th – 12th graders are invited to a pool party on May 15, 4 PM. It is hosted by the Hennerberg family. Amy and Jason and their two boys, Riley (middle school) and Evan (high school), moved to FL in February and have been attending Peace Lutheran. They have helped with other youth ministries in the past and want to help our youth strengthen their faith and give youth opportunities to be with other Christian youth.
Above is the invite. Mark your calendar. Let your youth know they are invited. There will be food, yard games, pool games, and Bible study planned. Invite a friend! RSVP to Amy. Her contact info is below.

CALL RECEIVED to SAINT LOUIS PARK, MN
What joy is ours to be united in the fellowship of the gospel which is at work among us, and believers around the world. I have received a call to serve as pastor to the believers of Timothy Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park, MN.
I ask for your prayers and your guidance as I consider where I might best serve our Savior Jesus, his church, and those who do not know the gospel. I will be talking with the leaders and members of Timothy Lutheran to learn more about gospel ministry in their community. I will also discuss the call and ministry of Peace Lutheran in Trinity, FL with the leaders and members of Peace.
God has placed these two opportunities before me. I am comforted to know that there is not a right or a wrong decision in considering these two ministry opportunities. God will bless his kingdom through these deliberations and the resulting decision that is made.
In His Service,
Pastor Schwartz
