Worship This Sunday: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Jesus gets done telling his disciples about his impending suffering and death for them, the extent of his love for them, yet the disciples are concerned about their own personal ambitions and who is the greatest among them. Jesus turns things upside down for us this weekend as he teaches us to continually ask, “How can I help?” instead of “When is it my turn?” We worship at 10:00 AM at the Phi Delta Kappa Banquet Hall located at 11311 Phi Delt Way, Odessa, 33556. Children’s Sunday School is offered after worship on Sunday!
Thank Offerings: The Bible says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” –Proverbs 3:9. God wants us to give of our first and the best of the resources he provides for us.

Stewardship Challenge: What does a God-lived life look like? It looks like Jesus. God became man and lived life in our place. Christ lived the perfect God-lived life. Living as a Christian, a little Christ, we have the privilege of demonstrating what God looks like in how we live our lives, in living lives that show God. NEXT WEEK, October 24, we will begin a special stewardship challenge. God’s Word will be challenging us, and we’ll be challenging one another to live a God-lived life. And that encompasses everything. We will be talking about a life of being a disciple, a life lived for others, a life of hospitality, and a life lived shrewdly. Join us as we challenge ourselves to put God’s Word into
