LEADING US BACK TO GOD’S ARMS
Wednesdays in April & May | 6:30 PM
It is easy to identify with the range of emotions covered in the psalms: frustration and worry, thanksgiving and worship, begging for help or crying out for forgiveness, wondering at God’s Word and His wisdom, anger at God’s enemies, or sheer, jubilant praise. The Psalms lead us from our human experiences and struggles to God’s arms. Our study over the next two months will focus on psalms that reflect this wide range of emotions. Join us online each Wednesday evening in April and May. We meet from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM online. Go to our Facebook page or peacelutherantrinity.com to find the Zoom link.
PEOPLE CLOSE TO GOD
Monday, April 19 | 7:00 PM
Do you know someone who does not have a church home, someone who has questions about God and the Bible, someone you know and care about you could invite to hear more about God’s grace and salvation in Jesus Christ?
Help them find answers in our class called People Close to God. People Close to God is our church Membership Class. Here they can ask questions about the Bible and what our church teaches and you can brush up on the basics of the Christian faith. There is no obligation to join after completing class. Attendees will learn how to apply the Bible to their life. Pastor Schwartz will provide all the materials, just bring your questions! We will gather in-person at the Longleaf office or join us online Monday, April 19th at 7:00 pm. Look for the link at peacelutherantrinity.com/upcoming-events/
“LOVE RULES” – a WOMEN OF PEACE BIBLE STUDY
April 13 | 7:00 PM
What do the Ten Commandments do for you? Do they send you on a guilt trip? Are they a mirror of your frailties? Or do they hold life-changing love? The miracle of the Commandments is that even after thousands of years, they still hold everything we need to live in relationship with God and with one another. In this women’s Bible study, you will see yourself and how pride, insecurity, grudges, and coveting damage relationships. Each narrative also shows exactly why we still need Jesus and His perfect, Commandment-keeping love.
All Ladies of Peace are invited to an online Bible Study on Tuesday, April 13 at 7:00 PM. A link will be sent out over email. You can also connect through Facebook and our website. If you would like to join, but would like more details, please contact Cindy Cochran (727) 236-7022.
