What Can I Do?
- Pray
Ask God for wisdom as you plan what to give over the next few months to make this vision a reality. - Respond joyfully to Christ’s love
Remember that these gifts are over and above your regular giving. Think in terms of what you can give up in order to be part of bringing more people to Christ. - Trust in God’s promises
God is faithful – trust Him to provide what you have decided in your heart to give. - Sow Generously
Paul reminds us of a simple truth that every farmer knows. If you skimp on either the quantity or quality of seeds you put into the soil, you will end up with a small crop. The opposite is also true. Sow generously and you will reap generously!
Ways To Give
Give a one-time cash gift.
Consider reducing your expenses or deferring a major purchase as a sacrifice to God.
Make a giving pledge.
The Bible teaches that spiritual maturity includes developing a heart of regular, joyful and generous giving. You can contribute far more than you might think possible by giving consistently, each week, over eight months.
Give creatively
Give income from stocks, cars, boats, trailers, RV’s, property, jewelry, securities, or other assets. Ask God to direct you to other creative ways to give. You might consider cash from savings, tax refunds.
Give By Check: Write out your check to “Peace Lutheran Church.” In the memo line indicate “Building Fund.” In your offerings box find the envelope labeled “Missions” and check “Land and Building Fund.” Place the check in the envelope. You can also use one of the special envelopes provided in this packet. Extra envelopes will be available at worship.
Give Online: Go to “Donate to Peace”, follow the secure link and choose “Land and Building Fund.”
The Time is Now!
There is an average of 143 new households moving to the greater Trinity area each month. Many are looking for a new church home. Now is the time to lift high the cross of Christ and share the peace God alone gives in this growing community.
Looking forward…
We are excitedly awaiting what will happen in the near future. The proceeds from the sale of our old campus will be quite a blessing towards our new building. We broke ground in June of 2021 and we’re looking forward to worshipping in our new church home in the Summer of 2022.
