THIS SUNDAY MORNING & EVENING
On Sunday morning at 10:00 am, see Christ your King. He is suffering, dying, forgiving, redeeming! The King of Kings offers his life for the very ones who made his sacrifice necessary. This is why we gather to praise our King – He is our Savior. Join us for worship at Peace Lutheran this weekend at our new church at 10:00 am. The address is 12708 Memorial Dr., Trinity, 34655. Children’s Sunday School and Adult Bible Study will be offered as well.

Plan to return Sunday evening for a special and unique service. There will be choir anthems and a guest preacher and dedication of our new church home! Join us at 5:00 pm for service and a dinner to follow.

Thanksgiving Worship: We will offer a Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday evening, November 23, 6:30 pm. Take time to give thanks for all the blessings our God bestows upon us.

New Pastor Called to Peace Lutheran
Peace Lutheran Church has extended a Divine call to Pastor Thomas M Moldenhauer to serve at Peace. He currently serves at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Bismarck, ND.

His wife, Mandy, teaches at Little Lambs Preschool at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mandan, North Dakota which is very near Bismarck. They have three children ages 9, 7, and 5.

Pastor and Mrs. Moldenhauer welcome input from the members of Peace.

THIS SUNDAY: God has written in ink the day when Jesus will return to “judge the living and the dead” (Apostles’ Creed). This Sunday we take time to think about that Last Day and what it means. Dedication of New Church – Sunday, November 20th
You are invited to join brothers and sisters in Christ from Peace Lutheran and the Tampa area as we dedicate our new church home to the glory of God on Sunday evening, November 20, at 5:00 PM. There will be adult and children’s choirs. The WELS chairman of North American Missions, Pastor Mark Gabb, will be preaching. A dinner will follow. Join us as we set apart our new space for the gathering of God’s people, the proclaiming of God’s saving gospel, and a place of life, comfort and hope for our community.

This Sunday is an important Sunday at Peace. We will be witness to God’s gift of forgiveness and cleansing through the waters of Baptism! We are also celebrating the Reformation!  We will celebrate the grace of God who reformed his Church and brought back the pure and simple teaching that had been lost:  Jesus Christ died and rose for me, so I will be in heaven forever. Period. Join us for worship on Sunday morning at the Phi Delta Kappa Hall again this week – 10:00 am.

Important – Pastor Call Meeting Sunday, October 30
On Sunday, October 30th, following worship, will be an important congregational meeting. The Holy Spirit, working through you, His Church, will call a new pastor to Peace Lutheran. A list of candidates will be presented to the congregation for discussion and prayer and then a vote will identify the man to be called. Pastor Matt Guse of Northdale Lutheran in Tampa will be leading the meeting.

These past few weeks we have been praying, “Lord, increase our faith.” This Sunday we pray “Lord, increase our faith…faith that completely relies on God to do what only God can do.” Jesus wants us to turn away from trusting in our own goodness and trust in him. Join us for worship on Sunday morning. Our Certificate of Occupancy did not come through this week. We will be worshipping at the Phi Delta Kappa Hall again this week – 10:00 am.

Aid & Relief To South Florida
There are two ways you can help provide relief to churches and families struggling after Hurricane Ian. Pastor John Backus in Clearwater has been coordinating local assistance that helps families and churches south of Sarasota. Go to https://sa.wels.net/hurricane-ian to learn more. There are a variety of ways you can help. Our synod has an organization that helps churches and communities with recovery efforts. Christian Aid and Relief looks to help churches and church members and communities affected by natural disasters. Gifts can be given to a relief fund at wels.net/cargift.
