We have returned to in-person worship at Trinity Elementary School: 2209 Duck Slough Blvd, Trinity, 34655. Join us for worship at 10:00 AM. Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School will be offered at 11:00 AM.
On Sunday morning you can find a pre-recorded service HERE.
On Sunday morning you can worship with us on Facebook Live.
Reminder: Face Coverings are required during worship (with the exception of ages two and under).
Our current guidelines for gathering are still in place for public worship:
- Hand sanitizing stations will be provided
- Current Pasco County Guidelines require face coverings during worship. Masks are available at worship if you do not have a mask.
- Our worship team will help to arrange seating to promote social distancing. The Cafetorium at Trinity Elementary School allows for plenty of space to social distance.
- We ask that those who are sick, high risk, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days not gather for worship at this time. Online services will continue to be made available.
- Offering plates and guest registers will not be passed. You can place your offering in the basket provided on your way in or out of worship. We encourage setting up giving online or by text.

Women of Peace: All Ladies of Peace are invited to an online Bible Study on Tuesday, September 8, at 7:00 PM. A link will go out over email and be posted to our website. If you would like to join, but would like more details, please contact Cindy Cochran (727) 236-7022.
Building Project Update: Greetings everyone, I pray all is well with you and your families. First off and foremost, we should all thank God for the gift of his Son Jesus Christ. He binds us together as a church family and gives resiliency, patience, love, and support that has been present with us all in the journey of our new church construction project. We are truly blessed. Here is a quick update:
Great news, we have received a letter of commitment from Pasco county for the utility portion of our site work and a letter stating our project has been accepted as submitted. More to come on this front, but this basically is stating the county is ready for us to proceed.
Our contractor, Voeller Construction, remains patient with our process and ready to start as soon as we have secured our funding.
On that front, funding, the Board of Home Missions (BHM) has formally requested that additional subsidy be provided to our congregation. This request will be reviewed by the Church Extension Fund (CEF) September 14 and 15. We should have a decision by the end of the month. If approved and funding is secured, God willing, we will begin the next phase, CONSTRUCTION.
We have all been praying for the future of our congregation and the new house of worship. Continue to pray. God has a plan for us all, it may or may not be a new church building at this time. Continue to pray for God to bless our church family and strengthen the trust we put in our father, that he knows all and what is best. We must remember that whatever the decision by our church leaders and CEF, it is God’s plan, not ours. It is comforting to know that at this crossroad in our journey, the people making the decisions are praying just as we are, God’s will be done.

This Sunday: One of our prayers for this Sunday says, “Help us avoid whatever is wicked and harmful. And guide us in the way of salvation.” Jesus said that his way involved the cross and his followers can expect the same. Does it really have to be that we bear crosses? Join us as we learn how to carry the cross in the Christian life.

This Sunday: Who is Jesus? The answer we give has eternal consequences. This weekend the Holy Spirit leads us to keep our focus on Jesus who we know to be the world’s savior from sin. Sunday we Service is in-person or online on Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Serving those in need: The James P. Gills YMCA of Trinity gives away food to those in need each Monday afternoon through Feeding America. If you would like to serve the community in this way, arrive at the Y shortly before 2 PM on Monday. Volunteering is from 12-2 PM. It is outside. If you would like to learn more, feel free to speak with Jennifer Shoemaker who has helped in the past.

This Sunday: God has always had loving purposes in mind for every person. It turns out that a Canaanite woman’s petition to Jesus, a petition that seemingly goes unanswered at first, is actually going to fall perfectly into God’s plans and purposes. Through it all, we are taught what a confident and persistent faith looks like. Service is in-person or online at 10:00 AM.

- Communion and dismissal patterns will be modified to maintain physical distancing as much as possible.
- The Cafetorium at Trinity Elementary School allows for plenty of space to social distance.
- We ask that those who are sick, high risk, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days not gather for worship at this time. Online services will continue to be made available.
- Offering plates and guest registers will not be passed. You can place your offering in the basket provided on your way in or out of worship. We encourage setting up giving online or by text.
Youth Confirmation Class: Classes are scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 13, at 5:29 pm at the Longleaf Office. In-Person classes go from 
5:29 PM to 7:00 PM. The address is: 3030 Starkey Blvd (Suite 227), Trinity, 34655. Pastor will send an email and text if plans change due to COVID-19. The plan is to keep classes, whether in-person or online, on Sunday evenings. Please plan to block out this time for Youth Confirmation Class.
