VOLUNTEERS @ MOONLIGHT EGG MADNESS
Evening of Saturday, March 20, 7-9 PM
Help meet and greet members of the Trinity community at Moonlight Egg Madness – a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt. If you plan to volunteer, please arrive at 6 PM as attendees do arrive early for this event.
As a way to support our community through this event, we are asking attendees to bring an item for the Pasco County Coalition for the Homeless. A list of items needed is below the registration link for the event. The Coalition is currently working to help 250 homeless families into a rental home. They are asking for help in providing essentials for these homes.
A DAY ON THE WATER
Saturday, March 20 | 10:00 AM
Join us for a paddling adventure at Honeymoon Island on Saturday, March 20. You can bring your own kayaks, paddleboards, or other seaworthy toys and meet us on the causeway at St. Joseph Sound at 10:00 am. Pull in at the kayak rental place and we’ll gather just beyond it on the sand. If you need to rent a kayak, rental information is here: www.sailhoneymoon.com/kayak-rentals.
Afterward, bring a picnic lunch to enjoy or gather at one of the many nearby restaurants. It’s sure to be a fun day of fellowship with your church family. Contact Brad Mattes if you have any questions.
SHADOWS OF THE CROSS
Wednesday, March 24 | 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM
God previewed what he would do for his people at the cross of Calvary over and over during Old Testament times. The Passover Lamb, the Sabbath, the Scapegoat, and the Tabernacle are just some of the Shadows of the Cross. This Lenten season, deepen your understanding of your Savior’s journey to the cross and your life as a believer in the New Testament. Join us Wednesday evenings through March 24, 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm, for this online Bible Study.
GOOD FRIDAY
April 2 | 1:30pm
Many years ago, the custom was to hold services on Good Friday afternoon during the hours when our Savior was on the cross. Businesses closed from 12-3 pm and no work was done during these hours. In respect to our Lord, it is good to take time to ponder our Lord’s death and what it means for us on Good Friday. Join us for a special Good Friday service on April 2 at 1:30 pm. The service will be held at the Phi Delta Kappa Banquet Hall.
INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS
Easter Sunday, April 4 | 9:00 AM & 10:15 AM
Easter Sunday is the height of the Christian calendar. Plan to join us for Easter Sunday worship. Seating is socially distanced and two services will allow for plenty of space to worship and praise God for the certain hope that is ours!
Furthermore, pray with us that many souls in our community will join us to hear about the certain hope that is theirs in the Easter message! Tell them you will be at Easter service with them.
You can register for our Easter services offered at 9 AM and 10:15 am on Easter Sunday morning.
VOTER’S MEETING
Sunday, March 21 | 11:00 AM
Having been approved for a loan of 1,410,000 from the WELS Church Extension Fund, the congregation’s voters are asked to approve the Borrower’s Resolution to finalize and secure the loan. We will bring this to the voters at a meeting after worship on March 21.
