This Sunday: Is God fair? He is incomprehensibly gracious. This Sunday we learn more about God’s grace and what it means for our life. Join us this Sunday. We have returned to in-person worship at Trinity Elementary School: 2209 Duck Slough Blvd, Trinity, 34655. Join us for worship at 10:00 AM. Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School will be offered at 11:00 AM.
On Sunday morning you can find a pre-recorded service HERE.
On Sunday morning you can worship with us on Facebook Live.
Reminder: Face Coverings are required during worship (with the exception of ages two and under).
Our current guidelines for gathering are still in place for public worship:
- Hand sanitizing stations will be provided
- Current Pasco County Guidelines require face coverings during worship. Masks are available at worship if you do not have a mask.
- Our worship team will help to arrange seating to promote social distancing. The Cafetorium at Trinity Elementary School allows for plenty of space to social distance.
- We ask that those who are sick, high risk, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days not gather for worship at this time. Online services will continue to be made available.
- Offering plates and guest registers will not be passed. You can place your offering in the basket provided on your way in or out of worship. We encourage setting up giving online or by text.
Thank Offerings: Your gifts make a difference as our reach with the gospel has widened online during COVID-19. Please continue your faithful support of proclaiming Him who is The Way, The Truth, The Life. Here are a couple of secure ways to give.
- Set up a one-time gift or reoccurring gift at our website, click here
- Donate via text, send the dollar amount you wish to give to 888-314-2975 (Example: $40)
- Send an offering envelope/check via mail to: Peace Lutheran Church, 3030 Starkey Blvd (Suite 227), Trinity, FL 34655
Building Project Update: As of the writing of this update, we are still awaiting word on decisions made this week regarding our loan request. The little bit of news we have received to this point is very positive. Continue to pray that God’s will is done and God is glorified in all we do.
Call Received: “All over the world the gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth” (Colossians 1:6). What joy is ours to be united in the fellowship of the gospel which is at work among us, and believers around the world. This past Sunday I received a call to serve as pastor to the believers of Messiah Lutheran Church in Nampa, ID. Messiah is a church of approximately 250 souls.
I humbly ask for your prayers and your counsel as I consider where I might best serve our Savior Jesus, his church, and those who do not know the gospel. I will be talking with the leaders and members of Messiah Lutheran to learn more about gospel ministry in their community. I will also discuss the call and ministry of Peace Lutheran in Trinity, FL with the leaders and members of Peace.
God has placed these two opportunities before me. I am comforted to know that there is not a right or a wrong decision in considering these two ministry opportunities. God will bless his kingdom through these deliberations and the resulting decision that is made.
In His Service,
Pastor Schwartz
