There are many ways to put your faith into action at Peace Lutheran. All of the areas of service that you see here help to carry out the mission God has given us: to Grow in his Word and share his Peace with all people!

Simply submit the online form or fill out the form at church, and we’ll work together to find the perfect role for you.
We have opportunities to serve in the areas of worship, administrative support, children and youth ministry, outreach, adult ministry and church property.
Hospitality & Outreach
Coffee and Snacks:
Serve attendees by providing coffee and snacks.
Guest Services
Serve attendees, especially guests, by providing information and resources about Peace.
Setup and Tear-down
Prepare and put away worship signage and furnishings once a month.
Worship & Greeter Teams
Welcome, serve, inform attendees as they enter and exit church.
Canvassing and Surveys
Engage members of our community in their homes to either share information about our church or gather information from them about our community.
Event Planning
Help plan community events that create awareness of our church, our ministries, our location and our willingness to serve the community.
First Time Visitor Follow-up
Thank our first time worship visitors by dropping off a gift from Peace Lutheran Church.
New Mover Outreach
Write a short welcome note to ten New Movers to the Trinity area each month.
Adult Ministry
Board of Elders:
Work to plan, coordinate and provide spiritual care for the congregation as a whole, especially adults, through Bible Studies, Fellowship and Service opportunities. The Board of Elders is also charged with caring for called workers and their spouses by working with them to prevent burn out and encouraging continued education.
Caring and Calling Team Members:
Assist in praying for and bringing relief to those within our congregation who are facing a physical or emotional distress.
Monday Money Counter:
On Monday, accurately counting the financial gifts God’s people give to carry out our mission.
Sick and Shut In Visits:
Visit with, pray with, and read God’s Words of comfort to those who are in sick and struggling.
Women of Peace Member:
Women of Peace are using their gifts in various ways of service to the Lord.
Youth Ministry
Crafting for Kids
Support our Children’s Ministries by helping prepare crafts.
Sunday School Substitute
Engage with children ages Pre-K thru 5th Grade with Bible Stories and life application.
Sunday School Teacher
Engage with children ages Pre-K thru 5th Grade with Bible Stories and life application so that God’s Word is passed on to the next generation.
Teen Group Teacher
Engage with children ages 6th Grade 12th Grade in Bible Stories and life application so that God’s truth is passed along to the next generation.
VBS, Christmas and Easter for Kids Teacher/Helper
Engage with children learn God’s Word by helping to teach a Bible Stories or song or game or helping with a craft.
Worship
Altar Guild Coordinator
Train, direct and encourage Altar Guild teams to prepare the altar for worship, creating an inviting worship setting.
Altar Guild Team Member
Prepare the altar for worship creating an inviting worship setting.
Musicians
Engaging worshipers hearts and souls with God’s Word through music.
Sound Board Operator
Operate sound equipment during worship so that quality sound is offered during the service.
